Hotel Okura Tokyo, which closed in August 2015, was reborn as The Okura Tokyo. It comprises two buildings, the Okura Heritage Wing and the Okura Prestige Tower, with Okura-like Japanese beauty scattered throughout. There is the inheritance of the old main building’s design — including the Prestige Tower’s main lobby, a precise restoration of the old main building lobby — and the modern innovation of Okura-like aesthetics, including the Heritage Wing’s lobby and restaurants. Considering that such Okura aesthetics are not only design but an underlying value standard in every aspect, we aimed for a website that can convey Okura-ness multifacetedly, from the hardware side to the software side.
